Samyang 24mm T1.5 VDSLR Micro 4/3 MFT m4/3 Olympus PEN Samyang 24mm T1.5 ED AS UMC VDSLR (Video DSLR) version has been developed primarily for professional cine / movie making purposes where high quality fast prime lenses are the primary requirement. The VDSLR version feature follow focus gearing and decoupled aperture, which allow the user to smoothly and quietly change focus and aperture / depth of field whist filming, and link to professional follow focus cam systems. The aperture and focus scale has also been relocated to the side of the lens to improve visibility of the scale The 24mm VDSLR version is compatible with full frame or APS-C sized sensors and are available in Canon, Nikon, Sony A, Sony E, Pentax K mounts and Micro Four Thirds (MFT). It is ideal for full-frame cameras, constituting a high-quality wide-angle lens perfect for street, landscape and architecture shooting even in low light conditions. Photographers using Canon DX / APS-C sensors will get approx 38mm field of view (35mm equivalent) suitable for journalist and general photography. Movie camera lenses are rated by a T-number instead of an F-stop.The F-stop expresses the speed of the lens on the assumption that lens transmits 100% of the incident light. The T-number expresses the actual light transmission. The Samyang 24mm VDSLR version is optically the same as the standard 24mm f1.4 version Samyang 24mm f/1.4 ED AS UMC Lens. The sharpness is excellent, even at the edges of the frame at wide apertures, and the fast T1.5 aperture is able to give a narrow depth of field for separating subjects from the background, and enabling faster shutter speeds in low light conditions. Samyang 24 mm T1.5 VDSLR is a manual focus lens. The focus ring features toothed rings compatible with professional geared follow focus systems available in the film industry and likewise a toothed, decoupled (de-clicked) aperture ring. Such modifications allow for smooth and precise control over focus and aperture during video recording / filming. This allows for ultimate manual control of focus and exposure when filming from one scene to another with different light source intensities, such as changing exposure values (EVs) from inside to outside, or even in-camera fade ins etc. For film and video applications manual focus is the preferred choice, allowing changing focusing during filming and here are increasing numbers of users using DSLRs for filming and High Definition (HD) video. The Samyang 24mm VDSLR lens provides lovely bokeh (the character of out-of-focus areas), due to its design and fast aperture. Optical construction of the Samyang 24mm lens features 13 lenses arranged in 12 groups, 4 lenses are low-dispersion glass (ED), plus two aspheric elements. The 24mm features Ultra Multi Coated (UMC) multi-coated lenses for the best possible light transmission, and resistance to ghosting and flares. Samyang 24mm T1.5 ED AS UMC VDSLR lens offers a professional wide angle prime lens with excellent optics, yet still manages to deliver amazing value for money. Nasljeđujući Samyang nevjerojatnu kinematografsku kvalitetu videa, ova pionirska serija filmskih objektiva nastavlja pomagati neovisnim filmašima i redateljima niskobudžetnih projekata da prošire svoje horizonte i kreativnost kao njihov prvi set filmskih objektiva. VDSLR MK2 komplet sastoji se od 4 najčešće korištene žarišne duljine: 24 mm T1.5, 35 mm T1.5, 50 mm T1.5 i 85 mm T1.5.
