With only 1 stop of light loss the 1.4x converter still provides fast super telephoto capability for sports and nature photography. For instance, turn your Zuiko Digital 300mm f/2.8 into a 420mm f/4.0 (35mm equivalent 840mm f/4.0). The EC-14 is compatible with all Zuiko Digital lenses, and is fully multi-coated to retain the high lens performance you expect and built to be drip-proof and dust-proof. Teleconverters are best used with longer telephoto lenses and are not recommended for lenses wider than 50mm, e.g. 28-105mm (35mm format).
