Only two other optics are equipped with this kind of technology (FUJINON XF56mmF1.2 R APD and Sony 135mm (SAL135F28)) The Laowa 105mmF2 STF technology offers two separate diaphragms. As far as the photographer is concerned, the perfectly circular opening 14 slats, in conjunction with the apodizing element, gives this lens the ability to produce a smooth and pleasant bokeh. It is also useful for videographers to control the amount of light that passes through the lens.
