Its 3-section legs each feature an independent 20°, 40°, 60°, or 80° spread as well as 35° twist locks for rapid adjustments. Non-slip, all-weather TPU grips on two of the legs provide a secure, comfortable grip while moving the tripod, and rubber feet enhance stability on a wide variety of surfaces. The tripod spider (canopy) has a 3/8"-16 tap for attaching lights, articulating arms, and other accessories. The PH-32 3-Way Pan Head can be rotated 360° and tilted -30° backwards or +90° forward. For portrait orientation, it offers a lateral tilt range of -60° to +90°. Each of these movements function independently of each other and can be locked into place. The head has an Arca-compatible quick release. Cameras or accessories that are compatible with a 1/4"-20 mount can be connected to the included QS-60 V2 Quick Release Plate which features a rubberized, non-slip platform. The plate can be attached or removed from the QR clamp located at the top of head by tightening or loosening the its knurled, locking knob. Within the recessed surface between the clamp's jaws is a retaining pin that prevents an installed QS-60 V2 plate from accidentally sliding off when the clamp is opened. Central Column and Lock Mechanism The mechanism offers one-handed, effortless smooth operation and rapid set-up, while the unique faceted center column ensures enhanced rigidity and stability. Leg Angle Selector Achieve ideal positioning and balance of the tripod to match any working terrain, by using the strong and steady 4-angle leg setting options of 20°, 40°, 60°, or 80°. Advanced Twist-Lock Fast 35° turn to lock or unlock ensures instant leg extension/retraction. Alta Link The tripod canopy (spider) is fitted with a 3/8"-16 threaded connector which allows easy attachment of additional accessories, such as lighting equipment and articulated or flexible arms, thus offering users new creative possibilities. Multi Featured Its many features include: fitted bubble level and dedicated suspension loop to ensure ideal positioning and additional stability by hanging a counterweight or bags, non-slip, all-weather TPU grips on 2 legs and angled rubber feet to ensure a secure grip on any terrain (spiked feet sold separately). The Alta PH-32 offers superior handle ergonomics and precision thanks to the independent control of directions: one handle offers 360° panning and -30° to +90° back-to-front tilt, while the other maintains a lateral tilt range of -60° to +90°. Performance features include friction control and a locking system on vertical and lateral tilt handles, unique quick panorama function button for stitching panorama pictures together and a 360° scale on the base to ensure accurate matching.
