Overland-Tandberg RDX QuikStor media offers a special, shock-resistant design to ensure maximum data protection and safe handling. You can simply copy your data to the RDX medium using "drag and drop". You can also integrate the RDX QuikStor into your backup environment. Fast and flexible The SATA III and SuperSpeed USB3.0 interfaces offer high throughput rates. By choosing between hard disk and solid state disk media of different capacities, you will always find the right solution for your performance requirements. RDX offers the ideal system for backup and archiving for single-user solutions as well as for smaller companies and thus helps you to quickly restore your ability to do business after an unforeseen loss of data. Robust and portable The drives are durable and the media is shockproof and durable enough to last 10 years. Bumps and falls do not mean that data will be lost. In addition, your valuable data is protected against unauthorized access by strong encryption, giving you complete peace of mind. The media is small and sturdy, just slip it in your bag for portability. Keep them in the safe or bank for your archival purposes—or use them to exchange data with other computers. Mobile and versatile RDX drives are available in internal and external variants. The external RDX USB3+ drive only requires a USB3.0 connection for operation. So you can use RDX just as easily as external USB hard drives. However, RDX is much more robust and reliable. RDX USB3+ is best suited for mobile use, such as collecting scientific data, in the media and entertainment industry, for field workers or simply for distributing data to different locations. Capacity expansion and media rotation Cross-media backup allows you to expand backup capacity beyond one RDX medium. All you need is backup software that supports this feature. For a full disaster recovery strategy, it is recommended to implement a media rotation with at least three RDX media: one media in the drive for the next backup, a second one on the way to/from the office, and a third media in a safe, remote location. 19" rack integration with RDX QuadPAK The Overland-Tandberg QuadPAK Rackmount Kit offers RDX users a simple and affordable way to mount their drives in a 19" rack. The new SATA III drives are prepared for hardware encryption. Additional security The RDX WORM (Write One Read Many) media enable legally compliant archiving. Data can neither be deleted nor overwritten. Fixed Disk Mode for Windows backup The Windows backup of current desktop and server operating systems no longer supports removable media.
