Dual Concurrent Wi-Fi 6 with aggregated data rate of up to 3,550 MBit/s The LANCOM LX-6402 offers WLAN in the Wi-Fi 6 standard (IEEE 802.11ax) and can provide both clients in the 2.4 GHz frequency band and modern devices in the 5 GHz band with fast WLAN. The Wi-Fi 6 technology enables transfer rates of up to 2,400 Mbit/s in 5 GHz and in parallel up to 1,150 Mbit/s in 2.4 GHz. 4x4 multi-user MIMO in downlink and uplink Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO for short) enables all available spatial streams of the LANCOM LX-6402 to be distributed to several different clients at the same time instead of serving them one after the other, as was previously the case. This means that the available bandwidth is used efficiently and delays in the wireless network are massively reduced. With Wi-Fi 6, MU-MIMO can be used not only in the downlink but also in the uplink. OFDMA - The carpool in the radio field Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) divides the frequency range of a WLAN channel into several frequency blocks within a unit of time. This creates sub-channels (sub carriers) that can be up to 2 MHz narrow. Small data packets, as can be expected from IoT devices, no longer block the 20, 40 or even 80 MHz wide channel alone. On the other hand, the Wi-Fi 6 access point can combine several sub-channels and transport them together.
