A switchable low-cut filter helps reduce low-frequency noise caused by wind, traffic noise, and camera shake. There is also a switchable +10 dB booster that lets you raise your recording level in quiet situations. The BY-VM600 is powered via a AA battery. It comes with a foam windscreen for indoors recordings and a furry windjammer for outdoors shoots.
